What do you think of this ( the house for sale is in the right ) how on earth are the people with the conservatory allowed to do this?

I'd be putting a solid panel 6 foot fence up my side...

I’d think it’s mental and assume they must be related or similar as no way normal neighbours would agree to this !

That is crazy. It would be hilarious if the right side decided to put up a similar extension, bet the neighbours wouldn't be so keen but would serve them right. What an intrusion of privacy!

I stayed in an Airbnb in Norfolk for a month earlier this year, waiting for my how sale to complete. The house I stayed in (end terrace) had a similar issue with the neighbour next door whose conservatory windows looked directly into the garden of the Airbnb - just like this house. They did have privacy film up but I did wonder who would agree to such an arrangement. It also had the issue of the middle terrace having access to drag their bins across the garden or have deliveries or the odd random window cleaner using the access. This Airbnb had been on the market for 18 months - I could see why it hadn't sold!

Wow. I would have put a fence up so fast they wouldn’t have time to blink. Even if they are relatives/ friends and agreed to it, why on earth would you put it on the market like that.

Does it even have planning or a building warrant ?
I thought conservatories had to have a solid wall at the boundry of an attached house for fire safety reasons ?
I wouldnt purchase either house.

I’m more shocked the sellers haven’t put a fence right across maybe with some climbing plants or built a wall? Even if there is some obscure reason they’re not bothered surely they could see any prospective buyer would be?
