Is my solicitor ghosting me??

Im supposed to be completing kn September 17th, solicitor said they would get back to me to review terms etc but that was a week ago and they arent replying to emails. Should i be worried? Im in scotland btw

Could they be on annual leave? That is what happened to us when we were selling. Our Solicitor went AWOL for over 10 days. Turned out she was on holiday and no-one told us and there was no 'out of office' on her emails.

Also, have you tried calling to speak to them? This is how we found out she was away. If we hadn't called, we wouldn't have known.

If you call with no luck then are you physically close to the office? If so then if it were me I would be dropping in.

Being ignored and not responded to is so bloody annoying!

Monday was bank holiday, some professional firms close the day after a bank holiday. Your solicitor may well have taken a long weekend and been off back end of last week too. Best thing is to phone them and ask. Completion is still 2 weeks away - the final two weeks are where a lot happens so don't panic yet.

Mine rarely responds to any requests for updates. I can email and phone and leave messages but hear nothing back. I finally got through to mine today after a week of trying. Mine also disappeared on holiday for two weeks without a word and on her return complained to me that she had 73 emails to go through. RIP customer service.
