Has anyone microcemented their bathrooms and utility?

I’m leaning hard into getting my bathroom microcemented. I’ve read that the existing floor and wall tiles can stay on?

if anyone knows of an expert that works in this field within the west London area I’d appreciate recommendations. My builder himself has never tried it.

I microcemented my bathrooms. I think one of them is over tiles - not sure. I will say whilst it looks great it’s very easy to mark and damage. I am going to have to redo the counter top in one bathroom after a year it’s so badly marked. It will cost about £300 to redo and it’s a very small top!!

I will also say I had to get a specialist in to do it, as my builder couldn’t. I used stone in the floors - I would not microcement floors. I cannot see that ending well.

I have had my floors in my Holliday home abroad micro-cemented. I didn’t like the fact it’s not very durable on perpendicular surfaces so just did the floors. No regrets love it. It was an UK brand- TopCret- though.
