Is Dawlish an okay place to move to?
This would be for two people in their 60s

I lived near there 30 years ago, it was fairly quiet & had decent amenities (depending where you were tbh). Friend (now 65) still nearby, she loves it & happily raised her family in the area.

A few years ago there was a drug dealer problem which was resolved. I’d definitely be checking that the problem has never returned.
Shaldon is nice but expensive.

Yes it’s ok. As long as you’re not reliant on the trains!!
