Help with kitchen choices

Landlord is replacing the cupboards and work top and I need help choosing other items please. It’s all a compromise as I have to work within their specs

They supply cashmere cupboard doors and Limestone white worktop.
I can supply:
tiles (15x15 or 10x20)
sink and tap

there is also the option to have replacement standard stainless steel sink and white tiles

I also need to buy a gas hob and single oven.

I wanted a white composite sink and brass tap, and was going to choose a black oven, but gas hobs are black or stainless steel. I need ideas and opinions how to try and make it hang together. Thanks if you’ve got this far and it makes sense

What are the undertone colours of the worktops? If slight grey then it will work better with silver handles, sink and appliances. If it's warmer in tone then go for gold tap, white sink, black hob and maybe some pinky tone tiles or green to add warmer colour?

I have seen so many kitchens where the worktop undertones clash with hardware and it just doesn't link. Good luck!

Don't get a white composite sink. Will stain and age v quickly. You can get a white ceramic sink or stick with stainless steel sink. I have black ovens with white sink and brass tap/ brass knobs, but the kitchen is cream and wood so very warm. I think cooler colours will go with the cashmere so i would stick to stainless steel, white and cashmere, maybe also black. You could have black or white handles on the cashmere. You can also have a black tap if you don't want stainless steel/ chrome tap.

I'd go for the stainless steel sink, and stick with chrome taps, it will work more harmoniously with the units and be easy to keep clean. You can be creative with tiles though. How about mostly standard white, then these as a feature c

I'd keep it simple. I'd go with the white composite sink, a black glass hob and matching black oven, and white gloss subway tiles (10x20). I think that would work really well with the cashmere units and limestone worktop.
A brass tap could look nice too, but only if you're planning to repeat brass elsewhere. Otherwise, I'd choose stainless steel to keep everything cohesive.

I'd not be happy to pay for anything that's fitted in the kitchen, period.

You can't take it with you when you leave and you're spending your own money beautifying your landlords bloody kitchen ffs!

It's fine to have the choice of what type/colour of sink/tiles/worktop/built in oven/gas hob, bit you shouldn't be spending your own money on them, because once they're fitted, they won't belong to you.

Im guessing its housing assoc. or council? IE yours for life, not a private landlord?

If not, please dont spend your own money on it, use it for accesories that you can keep.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
I still haven’t bought any bits but thinking about black hob (must be gas) and oven. Neutral tiles. I really don’t like the Steel sink though so I’m still want white and brass and some brass socket covers. I’m also looking for some usb chargeable lights for under cabinets

Yes it’s a secure tenancy in a very nice place. I’m would only move by an exchange or for a care home probably! so I’m happy to spend on the fittings

don’t waste money on USB, everything is USBC now and that’s the legal standard for any new products for now.
