Best plastering materials for a chimney breast around a log burner

Hi, I am looking for some advice on plastering please!

The plaster on the chimney breast in our living room has blown and all been removed. We have an active 51L contura log burner/ stove.

We are DIY replastering it but getting conflicting messages about the best materials to use. The confusion is because it's a chimney breast it will go through heat cycles so needs to be a material that won't crack - some sources are telling me normal plasterboard is fine, some say use concrete board.

The interior cavity around the stove has concrete board and that is staying as is.

Would appreciate ant advice or tips!
