What colour driveway?

So we’re getting a block paving driveway soon. House is red brick Edwardian with a grey slate roof. Do we go with a more red colour blocks to match the house? Or would grey make a nice contrast with the house but tie in with the roof? The guy has suggested brindle, they’re quite a red shade of brindle.

So this is brindle, which to me looks like a mix of red and grey 🤷‍♀️

Personally Inwoukdnt go grey as it looks a bit like tarmac. There are a couple of companies that specialise in this stuff and generally the packs give 3 or 4 different colour blocks, and you can have a pinky tone or a lilac tone or lots of other options. Your builder should be able to show the sample boards of the different options.
Brindle is quite nice. They all look a deeper colour when it’s rained and much lighter when dry.

Oh and there is a website devoted to the in and outs of different block paving materials …..hugely in depth. If you google you’ll find it.

Definitely not grey. The brindle looks like it would work well with your house.
