Hi all, I have been looking at long pole system to clean my Solar panels. Has anyone tried these people?

they get mixed reviews on Trust Pilot...

I’ve never cleaned my solar panels and they still generate plenty after 13 years. The rain keeps them clean enough.

Ditto, I’ve never washed mine in 15 years and still generate loads each day in the sun.

Had mine cleaned twice in about 15 years which has probably cost me less altogether than the price of a pole. And I don’t have the hassle and back strain of doing it myself or having to store it for years.

thanks...

I have quite a lot of trees in the area and they panels have a film of dirt and spots of lycan on them. the quotes to clean them have been very high (

My neighbour just climbs up a ladder and jet washes his. Seeems to work!

My window cleaners use a long pole system and have cleaned mine. Have you tried a window cleaning firm, rather than solar panel?

My current window cleaner has a 20FT pole, but with the angle of the roof its not long enough... he suggested getting a long pole...

It's pigeons roosting underneath them we have issues with filling the gutter with pigeon debris, not the top of the panels themselves as such.

@user1476613140 we got a handyman to put mesh round the edges of our panels, that’s kept pigeons out very effectively.
