Show me your small boot rooms!

I’m in the process of buying a house which I’m very excited to say has a small boot room!

It is attached to a side entrance which the current owners seem to use as their main front door and outside there is a small storm porch with some storage. Inside there are doors leading to the kitchen, downstairs loo, and rest of the house.

It’s probably only about 4 sqm in total so it isn’t a big space but I am extremely excited to have a dedicated space for muddy boots, coats and bags.

The current owners use it functionally but they haven’t really designed it in anyway - they mostly just have some hooks on the wall and a rack for shoes but I really want some fitted units and seating for putting shoes on.

So can I ask to see your small boot rooms please for inspo?! 🙏🏻

I'm not posting a picture, sorry! But we have an entrance hall about the same size as you where we store shoes/jackets etc.
If you post a floor plan of the room (dimensions, doors, windows) I'll happily suggest what storage could go where?

Mine is about 3metres long by 1.5 metres wide but the short sides and one long side all have doors so I don’t have much uninterrupted wall.

i have a big 1.5 m wide floor to ceiling cupboard on the long “ no doors” side with a hanging rail and shelves for shoes and then a 1.5 metres wide bench with storage drawers for hats/ gloves etc underneath ( one for each person) and hooks above. On the opposite wall is the kitchen door and another door which is the under stairs cupboard. The under stairs cupboard also has some cost hooks in it before it gets too low when it’s just a suitcase graveyard.
