Side extension ideas: keep kitchen window or block it up?

Hi.

Thinking of building an extention to the side of our house to get an utilty/office.
currently using bedroom 3 as an office but eldest son will want his own bedroom soon.
Plan to make a bigger porch. but am unsure what to do with the side window in the kitchen? Keep it or block it up? I’d prefer keeping it as a window but im not sure how the utility/office would look with a window through to the kitchen.

I’d leave it as a window so you can get more light from the extension.

You can always have blinds the office side so if needed privacy is still and option

if the office is needed for full time wfh with calls that need privacy, you'd have to block up the window and add sound insulation to get the privacy.

but if you don't need to have solid sound insulation, then keep the window
