Morning all 😁

Does anyone have any hacks or tips for removing black marks from skirting boards?

I have loads caused by the Hoover and would love to just clean them off without repainting yet again…

Magic sponge will get scuff marks off.

Sometimes a white rubber pencil eraser works of the hoover has black rubber bumpers. This also works on trainer scuffs too.

Put a dab of fabric softener on a dry cloth and rub it over the paint work. It should lift the marks and leave a nice smell as it dries.

Magic sponge works a treat.

Try Pink Stuff.

Pierre d'Argent, look ups Lynne Lamboure she swears by it for anything like this and has done various videos on it too.

Try a slightly damp magic eraser first, it usually works well. If that doesn’t do it, use a tiny bit of dish soap or baking soda on a soft cloth. Just don’t scrub too hard, especially if the skirting boards are painted or you might take the paint off too.
