Mortgage process with Barclays

Currently going through a mortgage application with Barclays and feeling a bit confused/stressed with the latest request.
My partner is self-employed and we’ve submitted 3 years of accounts along with 3 years of SA302s. Initially, they asked for a letter from the accountant to confirm he is a 100% shareholder, which we’ve now provided.
They’ve now come back saying the most recent year’s accounts aren’t dated within 18 months — but they definitely are. The same request also mentions that if the accounts aren’t visible on Companies House (they are, but only a few pages), they need to be signed by an accountant.
I’ve checked and none of the years are signed by the accountant, not just the latest one, so I’m not sure why this is suddenly being flagged.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Did it get resolved, or did it lead to a decline? Feeling a bit lost with it all.
