Our garden is quite enclosed, with trees, bushes etc at the back but I would prefer some sort of fence there just for peace of mind.

We have just ordered a wooden playhouse for the kids and blew the budget a bit

So just need something to go along the back of the garden thats cheap as chips really!

Thankyou!

you asked for the cheapest fence and thats the answer

you can etpanels in B*Q for less than £10 though... atleats you could last year when i got my new fences

Just be aware that, as per most things, you get what you pay for. If you are getting panels from most DIY sheds they do not last long, the posts need to be put into the ground far enough down and really need to be concreted in else one gale and they could come down.

My dh is a landscape gardener and is forever being asked to repair cheap fences because they just don't stand up to the weather, then one post rots out and it needs re-doing. If you can save up for a bit to get a decent one done it will probably save you money and hastle in the long run.

This probably doesn't help much, but didn't want to see you throwing good money away.

If you are paying someone to do it for you the labour costs mean you don't want to be doing it every couple of years, (I should think with a 130ft stretch you would be getting someone in Lizs?)

DH made a fence last week, he basically bought all the timber himself and banged the wood together, looks the real thing and apparently cost a lot less..

Mind you he did only have to made 1 panel....

Would love to get someone in but v unlikley atm as we are already having to pay someone to clear that overgrown area of garden. If we can salvage the posts maybe we can infill with different panels - need to be an open structure to allow wind to pass through as previous ones were wiped out in the recent gales.
