Karen at oneplan for ground floor design?

Hello

Has anyone used Karen at oneplan for more than kitchen design? I need a ground floor refurb and side extension and would like ideas on how to use space creatively since am space constrained.
I will need planning permission so will probably need an architect on top of that, i think? Also operating within a tight budget.

Just looking for references in case you have used Karen or similar for home design. Thanks.

Might be worth asking the DIY kitchens Facebook group- a lot of people have used her on there.

She designed my kitchen as part of a whole ground floor remodel so she worked out where we could put a downstairs loo etc. I thought it was really good - she even suggested where coat hoots, the cat bowls could go etc. There were a couple of small things that didn’t work out because of things she couldn’t know from afar that my builder had to change. She can only work with the info she has so you have to be very detailed.

@Sadteacher at what stage of design do you involve her- before or after an architect (for a wider refurb)?

We didn’t use an architect. We gave the builder her design and instructed a structural engineer to the calculations for removing a wall.
