Is Northwich a nice safe place to live?

Family of 3 with a dog are looking to move to Northwich. I'd really appreciate some advice on areas to look at and areas to avoid? We currently live in a relatively rough town in Greater Manchester with high crime and we desperately are looking for a change. We're ideally looking for a rural village with nice countryside walks, good schools and where we'd feel safe.
Thank you!

Comberbach
Delamere
Antrobus
Wincham
Barnton.
Some areas to research. Can't help with schools.
Northwich town is relatively safe.

Look at the surrounding villages not Northwich itself. The Winnington Estate, Hartford, Delamere, Frodsham

I guess it depends on how much you want to spend. I agree with both apps about places to research. There are many lovely areas to walk dogs, some lovely pubs & villages, sorry I can’t add anything about schools.

It’s ok, has its areas that are more deprived and others less so like weaverham, Hartford. Fairly safe overall. Nantwich and frodsham in this area are both very nice if your budget would allow.

We lived in Davenham (a village v close to Northwich). One of the best primary schools in Cheshire. Lovely pubs and walks and close to an excellent 6th form college. You should check it out.

What is your budget?
