Practical differences between garden rooms and log cabins

Not really about which looks better; more about the actual differences

Log cabin appear to be able to constructed on a diy (ish) basis

Garden rooms look more insulated

Really interested in how they work as spaces to work in - gym vs office vs annexes vs workshops

Damp? Ambient temperature?

Assuming a concrete base

Which is better and why?

I would say that log cabins are more like a fancy shed and for occasional use, and that a garden room can be set up to be used all year round.
Just googled and found this :

Log Cabin vs Garden Room: What's the difference?

Log cabin vs garden room. You know that you need a little more space in your garden, but you're not really sure what the difference is...

Log cabin is basically a shed.

Proper garden rooms are built to the same standards as a house, and properly insulated. Basically an extension that isn’t attached to the house.

Hmm a shed can be insulated i guess

Money and need never match each other
