Have to replace ONE white UPVC double-glazed window: Should it match the other hideous ones, or be nice?

One window has broken and needs replacing. We can't possibly afford to replace any others but I was wondering whether I should replace this one with a different style, which is nicer, or whether it should match the others, which have ghastly white "country style" criss-cross hatching between the glass?

It's on the back of the house.

Any ideas?

(It happened due to DH having a "baa-baa-blind-rage" incident while trying to get the farking blackout blind up. )

I hate to say it but I think you should have the ghastly criss-cross. Mine have stupid dividers down the middle which look shit but one of the windows doesn't and it looks really odd.

Unless of course you're planning on getting them all replaced eventually, in which case ignore me.

groan I don't know what to do

I hate the way you can't actually see OUT of the bloody things

How many other windows are there in the room? If it's the only one, then I think that's okay. I just have pairs of windows in every room.

No, I think you should have beautiful red rose on it with a leaf pattern behind it like mine.

Put in a tasteful wooden framed one and then get DH to have blind-rage on the others.
