Recent costs for adding an en-suite next to existing bathroom?

Has anybody recently added an en-suite to their bedroom?

We are looking to get a smallish en-suite added to our main bedroom. We will source and purchase the suite items (shower, sink, toilet, panelling etc) but obviously need someone to actually build it and install the suite etc.

Can anyone, who has done this fairly recently, let me know how much it cost them to do this?

For reference we are in a bungalow and the en-suite will be next to the existing bathroom so pipework etc for waste shouldn't be an issue.

Are you down south or in london?

Depends where you are. We’ve recently had a new bathroom (existing) for £10k and an en suite knocked out and the room made good for £3k
but…. Trying to find any tradesperson is a nightmare. Certainly wasn’t any that would be prepared to put in a suite that’s already be bought by the owner, they only seem to want big jobs where they can get the stuff themselves using their suppliers. I do get it because if last minute they need to change something (ie a damaged panel or not enough tiles, they can sort it straight away and get the job finished.

Sorry, I should have added my location, I am in North Wales.

We are happy to do 'supply AND fit' if need be but obviously just thought it would be easier if we sourced everything ourselves.
