And if so, could you share whether you are pleased and how much it cost?

We had an old wooden one knocked down and rebuilt in brick. Its about 1.5x2m with a composite door, and half height window to the front. Inside had plasterboard to the walls, with a light skim over and the floor levelled. Was about £6,000. Very pleased with it.

Have a wooden and double glazed porch and am very pleased with it. Although the actual house front door is double glazed as well the porch makes a noticeable difference to draft prevention, particularly on v windy days. Also provides storage for shoes/ shoe cleaning kit/umbrellas/ drying muddy wet boots & paws etc etc

We had one added to our previous house and we were very happy with it.
It provided addition storage space for coats & shoes (especially guests) and was somewhere warm & dry to act as middle ground when coming in from bad weather. Very spacious, it contained a church pew (handy for sitting on to put your shoes on). Proper brick construction with tiled roof, window, composite door, heating etc, it was an integral part of the house and did not look out of place (some can look like a distinct add-on). No idea of the price we paid but I do know full PP was required.

We intend having one built on our new house.
Will have to be a similar size as the previous one as it has to house the same pew!😆 Full PP will almost certainly be required and although we haven't yet started to look into getting drawings & estimates, we have a figure in our heads of about £25-30k.🤔
