Have purposely left this room until the last as I really dont know what to do with it. We’v left it so long it’s becoming a junk room so would like to turn it into a lounge but these windows 🫣 curtains ? How? Im not very good when it comes to soft furnishings. What would you do?

Yes, a pair of full length curtains for each window.

What's underneath the window on the right?

Maybe put a blind on the smaller one and full length curtains on the larger one? I'd even do them in different colours. That way you're 'owning' the fact that you have 2 different window types in the room rather than trying to pretend you don't, iyswim.

Oof that is tricky. Yes full length curtains, I might be tempted to put a decorative shelf under the smaller one, in line with the window ledge of the other to add a little balance? I might add something in the centre, artwork with a sconce to draw attention there?

Caroline winkler is my favourite interiors on YouTube, her style is more vintage than mine but her ideas on scale and proportion are 🤌 mwah!

Depending on budget and length of the wall I’d consider full length (floor to ceiling) curtains on the entire wall to make it a feature and move eyes away from the windows. Alternatively 2 nice blinds, roman would be lovely, but keep both same size to even it up and maybe quite a bold print, again to detract from the windows

Have you checked out how much it would cost to enlarge the smaller window to the same size as the other?
