Help me extend my kitchen? Floor plan help!

Hi all.

This is my current floorplan where my kitchen is. I’m looking to open it up so that in one room I have the kitchen, a living area and a dining area. I’d love for this to be L shaped ideally so that each area still feels a little separate.
I also want a large utility.
And just 1 downstairs loo.
I’d like to keep the loo at the front as a cloakroom.
Happy to go into the garage!

Would love some ideas from mumsnetters ☺️.

I’d like a big run of full length floor to ceiling units and an island too! Struggling to see where this could go due to windows…

The stairs are over the pantry so there is reduced headheight there.

We need the rest of the ground floor plan please.

Yes. However there are bedrooms over the garage so I can’t add any roof lanterns etc.

It would be easier to turn the whole garage into a big kitchen/dining space with bi-fold doors at the back. Or you could extend out the back to make a huge square (if the budget allows)

the more space you have the more you can configure what you want
