I’ve found this near a wood panel on my floor. Could it be anything harmful? It looks like bits of brown fluff

Can you zoom out and show more of the panel? Also where is this panel located in the property? And how old is the house?

Probably not, unless you intend to inhale a load of it. Doesn’t look like asbestos imo, if that’s what you’re thinking.
Wider angle pictures would be helpful as a pp said.

Age of property is important here as has been said.

But I agree it looks more like generic insulation than anything particularly harmful from your pics so far.

Is this a photo of the bottom of a wall with no skirting? And flooring below? It looks like it’s maybe been getting wet due to cleaning and then falling apart…

Theres a chance it could be paper covered asbestos board - but also fibreboard or MDF look similar. If you’re really worried (and you didn’t have it installed) you could pay to have it tested?
