Anyone with underfloor heating: do you also have radiators?

We're about to have a kitchen extension built with underfloor heating. I've heard that it takes ages to warm up though - does anyone have underfloor heating, and have you found this?

Will we need radiators as well, or will the underfloor heating be enough on its own?

We only have it in the kitchen so have radiators as well. But it does take ages to warm up and come through our laminate flooring.

we have underfloor heating in our kitchen. It's pretty rubbish to be honest. I would not go without radiators
