We've had a house on the market for a year, well below valuation, no offers at all. We'd decided to take it off the market and tenant it when agent arrived with the first offer she'd presented. There were conditions we weren't happy about, so we let agent know yesterday that we'd proceed with a lovely, reliable tenant rather than selling. This morning, a long email from the would-be purchaser, designed to make me feel guilty, really distressing. No idea how the purchaser accessed my details. Is it normal or ethical for an agent to reveal email details, as that has to be the only way she could have obtained them? I can't find anything on the S&P agreement submitted. Thanks.
