I live in a bungalow with 70 m squared area of floor space. This equates to entering bungalow with small shower/toilet on left, turn around left corner of narrow corridor to small kitchen including oven, fridge and washing machine (can touch all three standing in centre of kitchen). The lounge is the largest space which I usually use for yoga, as it's the only space big enough. But it's a wasted space. My teenager spends all his time in his tiny room at a desk under his loft bed. The conservatory is a wasted space in that it's extremely cold. There is a middle room with a desk, ladder into loft, a bookshelf, swimming in paperwork I need to file. When I come home at night after work I want to cook dinner and eat but I don't sit down as the kitchen is so small. I want to eat in the kitchen, I'm starving after work. My bedroom has a massive wardrobe so plenty of space for my clothes. My son's room is way too small as he only has a chest if drawers and he even goes and eats in there. He's 18. In the loft I keep camping gest and yoga gear. I feel overwhelmed with dealing with rubbish, recycling, where to dry clothes, where to store footwear. I want to come home from work, eat quickly and go do something fun like netball.... Does anyone have systems that make the home tidier? Easier to manage?
