Replacement sliding shower doors?

I want to replace my standard glass sliding shower door. It sits on rollers and lifts off the frame. Seems like a simple design.

BUT I cannot find anywhere that sells just a replacement door, I can only find whole new cubicles which i don't want.

Has anyone replaced just the sliding door that you can slot into the roller yourself? Where did you buy it from??

Watching with interest. Same problem

I have the same problem too. Mine aren’t on rollers but were badly fitted so want to get new ones fitted correctly.

Thank you, they don’t have any measurements or photos of the fittings on the page. I’ll see if customer service can help answer as returns sound expensive if I get it wrong.

This one took me awhile but I eventually found several companies that cut glass to size including holes for the hinges. I was very nervous getting it right but now I have two new shower doors for £300 delivered!

This is the company I used
https://expresstoughening.com/

A few things they highlighted to me:

  • you need rubber tubing over the screw thread so it doesnt break the class, easily available on amazon
  • screw holes should be 1 size bigger than screw to take into account the tubing ie if you have m6 screws the hole size should be m8
  • they cut notches at the top which they said was to relieve pressure around the roller hinge holes, they said the glass has to have this to stop it cracking

Really great company, would definitely recommend them.
