Hi everyone,
Myself and my children (boy 10, girl 8) are hoping to move to Wales end of this year and im struggling with areas 😫
I really like Abergavenny and surrounding areas, but am also looking at mid wales as I have family near Carmarthen. I quite like llandovery and llandysul, not sure about the rain though lol.
Our budget is around 300k with possibly some wiggle room, we need min 3 bed and a fairly large garden for our dogs, id also like space for a yurt/summerhouse where i could offer my soundbaths and healing work.
Ideally id like to be near to a town so my kids will have some life when they're teenagers.
Also need a good secondary school with a strong send department as my son whos 10 is high functioning autistic and adhd, hes currently home schooled but id like to try him in secondary for his socialisation. Had to pull him from school as his previous school did so much damage to him hes now in therapy for his pdsds 🙄.
Any recommendations for areas that could suit us and areas to avoid would be greatly appreciated.
Like I said Abergavenny would be my first choice, but some of the areas outside that are cheaper like pontypool I hear mixed reviews.
