Has anyone used this colour in a north facing room? It's currently in a south facing bedroom and looks fantastic, but concerned that it's grey base might make it look a bit cold in a north facing bedroom? The room has a large window so it relatively bright, but obviously never sunny.

I have it in a north facing room, and whilst it will obviously be a bit cooler, I wouldn’t say cold. I really like it.

Thanks @Purlant. That’s good to know.

The other option is Mylands Threadneedle. Some blog I found suggested it as a good pink for north facing rooms. I don't like it as much (not as interesting a colour) but definitely warmer than Peignoir.

DD really doesn't want anything that might look dreary. The bedroom is Shaded White at the moment, which looks awful! Completely different to how it looks in our south facing study.

I have it in a north facing room but mixed with 50% white. I love it.

I used F&B dimity in a north facing bedroom, worked well.

Dulux Mellow Mocha is in the list of warm neutrals on their website. It’s a soft, warm neutral with a subtle hint of pink. Not tried it though. I have just used Just Walnut in a north facing room and it’s lovely.

I just had a sample of Driftwood from Fenwick and Tillbrook which has slightly pink warm undertones. Can’t help re north/south facing etc, but can strongly recommend the brand - goes on so well and colours are beautiful.

I've never heard of that brand @GertieLawrence - will take a look!

Will also check out Mellow Mocha - thanks @Advocodo

I’ve just repainted my living room. I found the peignoir far too grey, dingy and cold for a north facing room.

I should have said that I repainted it in F&B pointing and it looks so so much warmer and brighter than peignoir.

That’s what I feared @GargoylesofBeelzebub! Thanks, that’s really helpful to know

I put a tester of F&B peignoir in an east facing room and hated it when it got to later in the day and there was no sun. I am a big F&B fan but this is one of the few that didn't do it for me.

I used to be all for F and B and Fired Earth but prefer it now by far. Similar price, based in Norwich I think but do next day delivery and proper painted sample cards too.
