Despite what my user name suggests, my husband and two girls (1 and 4), are planning to move from London to either Oxted or Tunbridge Wells. (We considered Petersfield but decided that the commute was too long and it was too far from family, who are in Tonbridge). We prefer Oxted as it feels quieter and more rural, but are unsure about the state secondary school, Oxted school (private isn’t an option). Its ofsted rating was requires improvement in 2018 but in 2023 was rated good, which suggests that it might be on the up?
does anyone have any experience/knowledge of what the school is like?
