Sofa Sofa cushions

I've seen an old thread about the company SofaSofa, and can't get the helpline today (Sunday), so I thought I'd ask you lovely lot for advice. I have developed osteoporosis and osteoarthritis in my lower spine in the last few years and find our current firm leather suite really uncomfortable, so am buying a new fabric one. Does anyone have any knowledge of the hollowfill fibre and the feather wrapped foam core seat cushions from Sofa Sofa?

Hi OP, I can't help with SofaSofa directly. What I will suggest is the ones that you can use to help you stand up, that tilt a little. Do consider these.

Also, I'd stick with leather and extra cushions if required. leather is easy to clean from spills and accidents and so on in a way fabric isn't. buy leather and add fabric cushions.

@TMMC1 thank you for posting. My problem isn't getting out of the seat, though, it's the fact that firm cushions either give me a very sore or a numb bum. My mobility is fine, but our leather sofa is like sitting in a church pew, and I want to relax and feel hugged by my sofa, hence the change. I'm currently sitting on an untidy heap of feather cushions to soften it, and my DH is calling me the Princess with the Pea.

We have a sofasofa sofa with the foam core and hollow fibre wrapped around that. They are quite firm tbh and I don't really feel I sink into them. I think a feather one would be much softer it then you have the issue of having to plump them up constantly. They are a helpful company so I would wait and contact them tomorrow

@My3dahliasarebloominlovely we bought a two and three seater from their Poppy range with a large footstool. Not the one I wanted, I love the Florence range, but had to compromise with dh

@longtompot oh golly that's firm. We currently have the dacron wrapped foam with the aspen one - also a compromise with DH. This time I have convinced him we will have Florence. Our current ones are still in excellent condition after 10 years so the local hospice charity should make decent money from them. Our phone line is down at the mo (snow) but will try emailing them.
