We have recently bought an ex council house with a downstairs bathroom. The kitchen is the length of the house with space for a small kitchen table and chairs: we have a modest budget to renovate the kitchen to something workable but have no idea. If anyone with a similar
layout could suggest

What is your budget and what are you wanting from the kitchen? I assume to feel more spacious? Is there space upstairs for a utility cupboard for the washer and dryer? Do you want to keep the shower room? What is in the two cupboards in the kitchen? Are they full height?

You have two cupboards which could make and excellent dining area

The kitchen could then take the whole side

Many thanks for all your replies. Our budget is £15000 to include a new kitchen as currently only have 4 eye level and 1 double under sink/draining board.

The 2 tall cupboards are under stairs and currently used as fishing and children’s hobby equipment but using that space as a dining area sounds great.

the longer term plan is to move bathroom upstairs
using the current bathroom (which is an 1970s extension) as a laundry room, retaining a
downstairs toilet.

many thanks
