Cost effective interior design

I am trying to do a minor house refurb with a constrained budget, in London. Has anyone used a cost effective designer or company (eg my bespoke room) which they can recommend? Most designers seem to cost an arm and a leg. I am looking for someone to help me with my ground floor (about 1000 sqft) keeping space and flow in mind. Not a major rebuild, but minor changes to existing rooms (including a kitchen redesign) which will improve function and refresh the house's look.

Thanks.

What do you mean by cost effective?. Do you have a budget in mind? I am in the norht and when I looked into it it was around £1000 per room depending on size.

If you go on Houzz there are lots. I worked with an online designer that kept costs down

@Gymbunny2025 anyone you can recommend?
1000 per room is fine but I would like personal recommendations, even if thye only do online consultations rather than visiting.

They are local and wouldn't travel to London so won't be any help to you unfortunately. I imagine you would have to pay a lot more for London.
