How to repair a cracked window

A large crack has appeared in my bathroom window and now stretched from the bottom of the frame to the top. We're planning on replacing this window in the next couple of months, but won't be able to do this for at least a month. Does anyone have recommendations of how I can make it more secure / safe in the meantime - is there a glue or tape I should buy to put over it?

It's the inside pane of a double glazed window. I'm just worried about it shattering completely if I leave it.

Double glazing should be laminated glass anyway, but there are (or used to be) products that effectively stick to the window. If you are looking for short term that would do.

I've saw a film that's been put over vandalised shop windows to keep glass intact
No idea what it is called..sorry.

DH uses blue electrical tape. Easy to buy in an ironmongers.

Thanks for the replies, I'll give the safety film a go.
