Let sign appeared outside my rental flat

Have been renting my flat since 2023. When I moved in there we was a board saying ‘let by’ but that was taken down after a few weeks. Today one has appeared outside saying ‘let’. I’m mystified and already on tenterhooks about being evicted due to lots of landlords selling up. What could it mean??

The guy stick the sign in the wrong place?

Go on the website it’s for and see if a flat nearby is on it and the guy just plonked the sign up in your street when it should be that street or your house number when it’s next door or something.

My next door neighbours went out for the day and came home to a for sale sign outside their house. Was meant for house round round the corner.
