How much would it cost to turn bathroom into bedroom?

We have 2 bathrooms and we want to turn one into a bedroom. We’d not need to reroute plumbing, more stop/remove it. It does have tiled flooring. How much did it cost you to do this or what would you expect? Obviously would be having professionals doing it!

Depends where you are in the country but you are looking at about £5000 I would guess?

So that will be a skip or maybe two, a builder for two of three days to gut it, a days plastering, a day for skirting, boarding floor and prep then two or 3 days to paint and decorate then fit carpet the next day and hang radiator and you are done.

Might be cheaper if you aren't in a rush.

I priced the exact reverse situation this morning and costs came to £12.5k but
that included reasonable tiles and sanitary ware.
Electrician, plumber, plasterer, joiner, building warrant, new radiator, skirtings, change of lighting, new floors, do you need to change out the window glass? I’d say upwards of £5k, too, but also wardrobe, bed , blinds etc could easily be £1500.

We are having a large bathroom turned into a bedroom and bathroom. Quote is about £10k, not including any of the sanitary ware, plumbing, tiles or flooring, so just the building and electrical work.
