Leverton Linden Homes

DH and I are looking to move from our 2 bed terraced house to something a bit larger as we have a baby (our first!) on the way. A driveway and garden would be much appreciated upgrades for us and extra bedrooms would be handy for visiting grandparents.

We’re considering a Leverton by Linden Homes, but looking at the floor plans I’m a bit concerned about storage space, particularly wardrobes. Despite being in a smaller property currently our rooms are quite generously sized so not sure if we’ll feel squashed in what is objectively a larger property but with smaller rooms and potentially less space for functional furniture.

Does anyone live in one and can give a view? I’m finding it really hard to imagine without seeing it in the flesh!

Thanks!

Can't help with Linden or the Leverton but if there is not one to view on that development, is there one on another development you could visit?
For such an important thing, I would be willing to travel a significant distance to be sure.

Definitely a good shout, and agree we’d be happy to travel to see one. Will ask and see if it’s a possibility.

It is vaguely similar to the style/layout of house we were initially looking at when we were in the market for a NB a few years ago (different developer but I think they all follow similar patterns) but I have a cautionary tale.

On paper it looked great so we went along knowing that while they did not have one as a show home, there was one that had just completed and they were willing to let us have a quick look (the owner had not yet moved in and sales still had the keys).
On the day, we first went into the showhome which was a different style, larger and (of course), more expensive but they said it would give us a feel of what the developer could offer.
Well, that was it and when we went into the other house (the one we had actually gone to see) it could not compete and after just a few minutes we went back and reserved on a plot like the showhome!

As I say, not particularly relevant but it shows how your opinions can change in an instant.
Luckily we have been very happy with our choice.
