Eco 4 boiler grant ended after the budget?

We had applied for the grant after several friends had got free air source heat pumps, insulation and solar panels and suggested we could get the same. The company had been to the house twice and said they would put in the grant application (last week) but then after the budget they phoned to say the grant had been scrapped and we could no longer get anything.

But when I google, this doesn’t look like it’s true?

Anyone know any up to date info?

And if you can apply for the grant still, how do I find a reputable company for it?

The grants are still available £7.5k. Find an alternative supplier. Do some research so you know the questions to ask.

But interesting you say the grants are still available - that suggests the supplier who arranged the grant for next door and was going to do ours is talking shite then.

I didn't realise they were free, I thought they paid towards it.

I thought the grants had been limited significantly and were now only available to low income households on benefits etc
