Levelling floors in a Tenement flat do I need permission

I have sloping floors which I would like to get levelled but would I need permission from the other flat owners in my building.

Is it leasehold or freehold?

check the documents you have from your purchase, it should cover everything in there.

If you are in Scotland then it will be freehold.
