Big dents in carpet

Have tried ice to rise. Used a fork to fluff and hoover to suck at high setting but nothing works. Any other suggestions ?

Steam. Get a damp towel (white) and set your iron to steam or a low heat setting (so as not to scorch the carpet), press the iron onto the towel for about 30 seconds to a minute. Don’t press too heavily. Then remove and use a brush or your fingers to bring up the carpet.

If you do t want to use and iron, try spraying the carpet with water and use a hair dryer on a medium heat whilst brushing the carpet upwards.

We got rid of these by putting ice cubes in the dents and letting them melt / evaporate. I assume it's the moisture at work.

Apparently the moisture softens the fibres. I’ve used the iron and damp cloth method and it worked, but the dents weren’t huge.
