How can I hang a mirror on this door?

It’s a 3 panel door. The middle panel gap is only about 23cm wide which is too narrow for a mirror. Ideally I’d like a 30cm mirror or bigger. I don’t want one that hangs over the door.
Any ideas?

Screw plates.
You’d need a mirror in a frame though to screw one part to the back of the mirror and the other into the door. If I can find a link for the other way I’m thinking of I’ll come back & post it.

If the mirror will cover the panels anyway, just mount it the same youd mount on a wall.

But the mirror will sit away from the door as the panels are sunken. I would normally use command strips but can only do that if the frame is 23cm wide which is tiny or about 50cm wide which is huge.

It might not be easy to tell from the photo but it’s like this. The bits that stick out are the sides and 2 thin lines. Everything else is sunken.

If you want to put a mirror on the door which is bigger than the panels, it will have to go over the panels. That's just how the world works in 3d.

Have a Google of "over the door mirror" and see if anything there takes your fancy.

If you want it to fit in the recess, get it cut to fit by your local glass merchant.

Right ok i now see what you mean. You could box a mirror onto the door......or for ease, change the door!! 😄

I think I would go for a large mirror, either fixed to the stiles of the door, or just inside them.

It would look neatest if you ran a batten behind the top edge of the mirror, filling the gaps where the door panels are recessed. If you are not good at joinery, a thin strip, and filler behind it, coloured to tone with the wood.

A similar batten behind the bottom edge would add strength and rigidity to the glass.

If you have a teenage daughter in the house, the mirror will break when she slams the door.
