Chimney trouble

Hi had the chimney flaunched re pointed pots and cowls replaced, it is has open fireplace down stairs and open decorative fireplace upstairs. There is occasionally small amounts of brick that fall down usually if windy? Why could this be happening? We are having the lead replaced so wondered if there was anything I could ask the roofer to check? Thank you x

It's probably just rubble from when the works were done that has lodged on the ledges inside the chimney and then is loosened in windy conditions and comes down.

Ahh that’s a good point I didn’t think about that, I went down a rabbit hole and convinced myself something awful would happen 🤦🏽‍♀️

I would consider having the chimney swept, then if there are any bits of rubble ( although the builder should have protected the opening before he started) they will be cleared away.
