How would you do this floor plan?

My house is sold and a house I had an offer accepted on has been taken off the market. I haven’t found anything since August.

A house has come up but needs modernising. Is it worth it?

I was thinking of taking some of the lounge and making it into a kitchen/diner. The dining room on the plan shows it’s the full width of the house but it isn’t.

I am also thinking of converting the garage and adding a shower room so my daughter has her own space.

I’m so torn on waiting for the right house or just making a house 🫠

I can see your vision, but without a structural survey we cant say if it will be a cheap and easy job. Just depends if that kitchen wall is load bearing and will need an RSJ.

Putting a shower in garage should be easy though as plumbing is only on other side of the wall.
