Hello. If you have used a person or company for virtual staging, please could you share your recommendations? Also if you have any suggestions, which could make an empty property more visually appealing to prospective tenants/purchasers, please could you share your thoughts. Thank you.

Don’t bother

Not used one, but i do think it can be difficult for people to understand the size of a house, or feel 'welcome' if its empty. If it's a hard to sell house, I.would be tempted.

Do you have any furniture you can put in it? I don't think much is required, maybe a sofa and beds for the bedrooms. You could pick them up from Facebook market place and resell when done if you don't have thing to use. Id be tempted.to maybe put a couple of plants in too, if you live near by and can water them. Id also make sure the heating comes on once a day. My sister got hit hard when a water pipe froze in an empty property. Destroyed a whole room as it was in the ceiling. Plus viewing a cold, empty house would be miserable.

But I imagine most people are going to say don't bother.

A mattress or bed frame in each bedroom helps people visualise the size

makinh sure it’s clean make it look still cared for

Just post your listing on here. You will get feedback for free. Some of it will be nonsense, some will probably offend you unless you have a thick skin but some will be genuinely useful.

90% of the time though if your house is priced appropriately it will sell.

If it is a high end house that has been fully renovated you should stage it. If it needs work, don’t bother. It will be 100% price led.

A friend of a friend has had her house dressed. Cost a grand a month, got more viewers but still no offers.
I've done it myself to an extent. DH and I use bedrooms as offices, when selling I always make sure the purpose of a room is absolutely clear, so the bedrooms get changed from offices back to bedrooms. Some people really can't imagine living in a space if it's empty, so I do think the effort is worth it, but I wouldn't pay to have it done.
