I have had new laminate flooring throughout the house, I first used the spin mop with flash pet and water to clean the floors, this left streaks so then I used method almond floor cleaner, this also left streaks. And these weird marks which I have no idea what it is. So now I’ve just used fairy dish soap with warm water and a sponge and it hasn’t made any difference. Any advice on how to get rid of these marks they’re almost like grease but it isn’t grease they are driving me mad!

Close up you can’t see anything but it’s when you look from an angle and especially with the light shining in

@missrachaeloh no do you still get them? I’m thinking to try white vinegar and if that doesn’t work then I have no idea!

Look for recommended cleaning products on the laminate manufacturers website, or contact them?

Do you really wring the mop out for mopping, so that it’s only just damp in the floor? It looks as though you’re using too much water, which then dries unevenly and leaves a residue. Try that, and also drying it off with a microfibre towel afterwards.

I use the method rhubarb floor cleaner as it is PH neutral and doesn't leave streaks. I use the vileda 1-2 spray mop and fill the reservoir with water, spray the method directly on the floor and mop the floor. No streaks or excess water left behind as it's damp mopping rather than wet mopping.
