Getting really excited! Just got an email from solicitors with the results of their queries....I had a quick look through and there wasn't anything unusual

Partner is without his phone and I won't be home till late but I have to ask, what happens next? There wasn't any comment about what the next step would be. Could this be over soon?

Have you had a survey done yet?

If that comes back okay, and the Searches are clear, and your mortgage is still good - then it's a matter of telling your solicitor to ask about exchange and completion dates. And start investigating removal companies.

Everyone in the chain needs to be in the same position; mortgage offer, satisfactory replies to enquiries and searches and signed documents. Then you can get excited 😛

There's been another flurry of emails (months of nothing, then everything all at once). We have a meeting in a few days with the solicitor to discuss everything in their findings and, give us a chance to ask any questions and discuss dates. Im really hoping to get in there before Christmas
