Diy kitchens larder shelves

Hi,

Im considering getting a larder from DIY kitchens. If you have one, what is the spacing between shelves like? Our last one (not DIY) had so many shelves but I couldn't fit things like cereal boxes and sometimes gravy granules in there which was really annoying!

Help gratefully received!

Is a larder cupboard a floor to almost ceiling type?

If so, mine from DIY (2019) has a fixed shelf at worktop height (ie like a bottom cupboard) and then just lots and lots of spacer holes so that the other shelves can be put wherever you want.
It also has 2 doors, bottom matching the other base cabinets, rather than a single door. I seem to recall the fixed shelf and door split being a choice.

As above, our larder units have a fixed shelf about midway. Then lots of holes and shelf brackets for you to space the shelves wherever you want. Our kitchen is less than a year old so assume it's still the same.

They are really nice & helpful if you ring them to ask things like this.

but yes, last time I was there they had a fixed shelf & then loads of places to choose where to put your shelves.

what design & colour have you chosen
