Council House Bidding (London)

Hello all,
Been renting in the private sector my whole life. Got on council list eventually and after years of bidding finally made it into band b.
I am very happy in my private rental but nervous that I will be evicted again so started bidding on properties that were slightly below my needs (2bed) I have 2 kids.
I have been bidding but not thinking I will get anything soon then got to no 2 on a nice property, not my ideal - garden/house but in a lovely area.
Then low and behold no other bidders and I got offered the flat.
I have been panicking so much whether to take it or wait for a 3 bed with garden but I’ve no medical needs for garden.
I was hoping my landlady would say that my current property would be getting a rent increase or she may want it soon, which would help me make my mind up but she said no rush and no rent increase.
I've agonised for 2 months and eventually couldn’t agree to reject in which case I got the keys.
Really overwhelmed if I have made the right decision to take this now. We love our rental, kids, cats, neighbours, garden, area, but I’m scared this is a great offer.
please any thoughts would be helpful. I feel like I’m having a nervous breakdown.

What sex are the kids and how old are they?

Stop being dramatic nobody is forcing you to move. make a pros and cons list.

pros - security and lower rent.
cons - no garden and kids will always have to share.

Is the location one you like and is the flat a good size and in good condition?

I would take it. Once you have it you can try for a swap.

No matter what your landlady says, her circumstances might change and that will have a massive impact on you.

Also what are the rules if you reject it? Does that mean you lose your place or are not allowed to reject the next place?
