After some advice from you lovely lot.
I am in the middle of buying a house. The previous owner had sold it back to the developer. The TR1 is still in the name of the previous owner. My solicitor has requested an expedited 10 day transfer with The Land Registry so that it is transferred back to the developer and then be transferred to us, but there is no movement from the previous owner’s solicitor. I have tried to get this resolved but with no luck and our buyers are pushing for an exchange date.
Has anyone had this issue and how was it resolved?
