Hi, anyone knows what number or mm does 1/2'' masonry drill bit mean?. I am trying to put a bracket for TV on the wall where it needs a 1/2'' masonry drill bit to put a large plug in first.

It will be the measurement across the drill bit (i.e. diameter of the hole).

Sounds like abloody big hole though...
