Wall removal Cost

We are looking to have a large bearing wall taken down between our kitchen and playroom. The flooring needs to be levelled, as one room is lower than the other. We will also have a single door opening made into patio doors.

If anyone has had anything similar done and can advise how much they paid, approximately that would be great

Quite a lot of unknowns here to really be able to answer that.
I do wander why you are doing this... the market is shifting to people wanting their own space and moving away from open plan. Do consider this along with the cost of your proposal to if you will get your money back.

It's quite a big house, plenty of space for everyone - we love a large kitchen space as it tends to be where we all hang out.
